Brian from Ladbrokes Bingo
Q1: Tell us a little bit about you.
I am Brian and I work at Ladbrokes bingo! I am 21 years old, and I come from Ayrshire (Saltcoats) I love to tell jokes, although I am very bad at it as I can never stop laughing LOL. I also love animals, specially elephants for some strange reason (don’t ask why, cause I really don’t know myself!!! They are just cool, ok! Lol)
Q2: How long have you been a Chat Host?
I have been a chat host for a year and a month now :-)
Q3: How did you become a Chat Host?
I was a VCM at FreeBingo.co.uk and then someone had asked me if I would like to CM full time as a job, so sent in the application thinking I wouldn’t get anywhere, but turns out I got the job! Best day of my life.
Q4: What do you like most about the job?
There is a few things I like, we have the best roomies chatting away all the time, so every shift I look forward too – I work with the best management anyone could have, and the other team members are ace – And sometimes, don’t tell no one! – I work in my pj’s, which you can’t really do in many jobs! Lol - couldn’t ask for anything more!
Q5: What is the worst part of the job?
Having to travel all that distance to work each day! Have you seen how far my computer is from my bed??? – Other than that, there is nothing I don’t like about my job :-)
Q6: Which are your favorite chat room games?
My favourite chat room game is lucky number! Although I quite like trivia, I am rubbish at answering trivia questions, but good at asking them!! LOL
Q7: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened whilst you have been in a chat room?
The funniest thing must have been “Save the moose campaign” lmao!!!! It’s a bit of a long story, so you're going to have to come in the room and ask about that, but a lot of roomies will know what it was LOL
Q8: What makes a good Chat Host?
I think what makes a good chat host is someone that’s always there willing to help and know how to handle all different situations, someone who likes to get along with everyone and anyone. And of course someone who likes to chat a lot lol!! (Although some people never be quiet… Don’t point to me… LOL) – Best thing to do, is just be yourself!
Q9: How would you like to see online bingo (as a whole) develop?
Well, online bingo has already developed rapidly over the past few years, but like anything else, more can happen to make online bingo more fun – and It would be quite exciting to see how things turn out for the next few years! I would love to see “live bingo callers” now that would be fun! lol
Q10: Any other comments that you'd like to add about being a Chat Host?
May I sing? Lol… – Just want to finish by saying, its been a great year since I have been a chat host, and im sure the next year will be just as good, if not better! It’s the best job anyone could ever have, and I am privilege to be part of our wonderful team and company! ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
