Q1: Tell us a little bit about you.

Roxy from BingoLand I’m 37 years old, residing in the USA. I have a wonderful supporting family, 2 dogs and 3 cats.

Q2: How long have you been a Chat Host?

I have been a volunteer Chat Host now for almost 8 years.

Q3: How did you become a Chat Host?

I loved playing Bingo and casino games so much that I inquired into how to become one. So I started volunteering spare time and loved what I was doing.

Q4: What do you like most about the job?

I love the fact that I can sit in a chat room and talk to people around the world in up to 5 languages at once and be able to help each and every one of them to the best of my ability, whether it be helping with a chat game, offering advice outside of bingo, consoling them, or just being there to make them smile and feel special each day.

Q5: What is the worst part of the job?

I can’t think of one bad thing...

Q6: Which are your favorite chat room games?

The best are the ones where the players are involved. The ones where they have to talk and the ones that keep them on their toes.

Q7: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened whilst you have been in a chat room?

I was running a chat game and I got hungry. So I rushed to the kitchen and popped a hotdog into the microwave. As it was cooking I rushed back to the computer and on the way back I clipped the side of the staircase and believe it or not, BROKE my toe. Had to leave and rush to the Dr, but the hotdog was still good when I got back to eat it :-)

Q8: What makes a good Chat Host?

A good Chat Host is someone who has a lot of patience. One with good communication skills. One who can multitask. And one who has the gift of GAB!

Q9: How would you like to see online bingo (as a whole) develop?

I would love to see online bingo be able to open its doors back to the American players. I think everyone should have a right to play anywhere online. Online bingo is very therapeutic to many individuals and helps them unwind to a bad day, laugh with friends, and just be there with people in need of comfort.

Q10: Any other comments that you'd like to add about being a Chat Host?

I have been very fortunate to be with the best online bingo network since they opened their doors. BINGOLAND ROCKS! We have the best team of Chat Hosts and the best Chat Manager around.
