Q1: Tell us a little bit about you.
I am happily in love! I am a 38 year old Musician/Entertainer who loves to make people smile. I enjoy the art of creating things and I love playing with the computer while learning about new software and websites and just finding interesting things on the World Wide Web.
Q2: How long have you been a Chat Host?
I have been hosting chat games for over 3 years and I am always learning each day.
Q3: How did you become a Chat Host?
I started in online Customer Service/Technical Support supporting over 1 million members with computer related difficulties and an opening came over the holiday season to host some special games and I never stopped!
Q4: What do you like most about the job?
I enjoy the hours we share in the halls. You really get to know good people and you truly want to cheer them all on.
Q5: What is the worst part of the job?
Not enough winners each game. Everyone wants to win and I would love to see the whole room get Bingo just once!
Q6: Which are your favorite chat room games?
The Bingo.com horse Races, Mirror, Trivia and of course the Bingo Buddy Blitz.
Q7: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened whilst you have been in a chat room?
Acronyms, people type the weirdest things in chat and sometimes you get the odd one that just doesn’t seem appropriate. Then, when you try to call them on it and they show you that it was simply a harmless acronym that makes sense… doh!... then the whole room just erupts in total laughter.
Q8: What makes a good Chat Host?
A good host senses the room atmosphere and tries hard to create a warm and fun place to play with friends. Hosts help players understand the game and try to make you feel good in tough times.
Q9: How would you like to see online bingo (as a whole) develop?
I would like to see an online Bingo hall with a thousand players in the same game broken into team rooms with separate hosts and one unified host where everyone can compete with each other for greater prizes and fun!
Q10: Any other comments that you'd like to add about being a Chat Host?
Being a Chat Host is not easy as there are many things the Chat Host must do behind the scenes to ensure a reliable, fun and fair chat game. I am simply part of a bigger team of hard working individuals that help each other in frenzied times and confusion.
