Q1: Tell us a little bit about you.

Hi ya. I’m James (Or JHIAL) as many know me in chat. I’m 20 years old and live in Leeds. I Enjoy keeping fit and socializing (which doesn’t always mean being out on the town), saying that, I like a night in and settling down to a nice movie. I love visiting new places around the UK and Europe and trying new experiences, which I feel make me a better person. I enjoy every minute of it and try to meet new people as much as I can. I have a dog and a cat. Oh, and I love Take That! ;)

Q2: How long have you been a Chat Host?

For around 2 years now.

Q3: How did you become a Chat Host?

It was a really lucky break. I was playing with my last £5 of my student loan, and the chat host I was talking to told me I would be a good chat host, and Bob’s not my uncle, here I am. Thanks lady luck!

Q4: What do you like most about the job?

I enjoy meeting new people every day from all sorts of backgrounds. I also love running the promotions and cuties we have at the Jackpotjoy. As long as I can make people laugh, then I’m a happy lad.

Q5: What is the worst part of the job?

It’s not really a job is it? More like community service! No seriously, I’m twenteen, so like many teenagers, getting up out of bed at 7 is pretty hardcore, as I do need my beauty sleep! Otherwise I look a bit like Medusa.....

Q6: Which are your favorite chat room games?

I love the new Cutie games at Jackpotjoy! Blox and Closest to Zero. If you don’t know what I’m on about, come and take a look!

Q7: What is the funniest thing that has ever happened whilst you have been in a chat room?

There have been so many, but my favourite, was when we had a double winner. One of the winners commented in chat saying she should have won as she had literally shouted BINGO first. Poor women thought she was in bingo hall! Last time I checked we don’t have CCTV installed in the members’ houses lol ;)

Q8: What makes a good Chat Host?

What makes a good chat host? Simple - just be yourself. Act like you’ve met the players face to face and be always polite. Sometimes be a bit cheeky too. ;-)

Q9: How would you like to see online bingo (as a whole) develop?

It’s a huge market, and there’s something there for everyone. I’d like to see interactive games and quizzes more, and of course bigger pay outs :D

Q10: Any other comments that you'd like to add about being a Chat Host?

I love bingo and I love Jackpotjoy! What more can I say?
